No. Keep a Minute is a symbolic dedication. You don’t legally own time — your minute is uniquely reserved for your story inside Keep a Minute.
Which year is it?
Every year. A minute here is a place on the calendar — 13 May at 18:42 — and it comes round annually, wherever you are.
Can I give a minute as a gift?
Yes. Keep a minute for someone else, put their name on it, sign it from yours, and add a personal message.
What happens if my minute is already taken?
Each minute can belong to only one story. If yours has already been kept, we’ll show you nearby minutes that are still free.
How does the time capsule work?
Write something today and choose the year it can be opened. Until that minute, the message stays locked.
